Prom Eye Makeup Tips
All girls want their eye makeup for prom to look great. Whether your prom
dress is perfect or just ok, your prom eye makeup can make or break your entire look. Here are some thoughts
about what to think about before you decide on your eye makeup for prom...
You Should...
-
Wash and moisturize your face before applying your prom eye
makeup. A nice face cream that you are comfortable with should be applied about 20 minutes prior
to your prom eye makeup. This will give you a good base and a more natural
look.
-
Practice your eye makeup for prom a couple days before the big day -
you do not need any surprises (at least not this kind) on prom day!
You Should Probably Not...
-
Try self-tanner for the first time in the days before
prom. Does not work for everyone and takes some perfecting of the application. Nothing
wrong with it, but again, practice if you are going that route. You want to be highlighting your
features when you apply your eye makeup for prom, not covering things up!
-
Choose a bright or bold lipstick if you want to highlight your eye
makeup for prom. Go with a neutral color lipstick for prom and put the work into your
eyes.
